Dr. Amy Youngblood
Amy is from Morgantown, Indiana. She graduated from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and worked for Janssen Veterinary Clinic in Sheridan, IN for 2 years. After leaving Janssen's she worked in Columbus, IN for 1.5 years prior to Opening Southern Indiana Equine, Inc. in 2001.
Dr. Amy has always enjoyed barrel racing, but has been team roping for the last six years and continues to become more addicted all the time. Dr. Amy's special interests lie mainly in Equine Reproduction, Equine dentistry and Performance Horse maintenance. Amy and Jesse live at their farm in Austin and have 14 horses of their own.
Dr. Dwight Bradford
Dr. Amy Youngblood and the Staff are thrilled to announce the addition of Dwight Bradford D.V.M. to our staff at Southern Indiana Equine.
Dr. Bradford comes to us with an extensive background in both small animal and equine veterinary medicine. A native of Northern Kentucky, Dr. Bradford received a B.S. in Animal Science Agriculture from The University of Kentucky, and his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 1984.
He spent his first 13 years in practice in a Mixed Animal Practice in Northern Kentucky, and the past 10 years as the resident Farm Veterinarian for a Thoroughbred Horse Farm.
Dr. Bradford and his Wife Lisa reside in Crothersville and their Daughter Laura attends Georgetown College in Kentucky.
Lisa Edwards - Vet Assistant
Lisa is a Vet Tech employed since August of 2008. Married to Tim with four children. Danny 23, Katie 21 (newly married to Bryson),
Sara 9, and Lexi 5. She enjoys riding horses, especially her own, Henry (a Big Red Dun.) She also enjoys painting and cooking.
Jesse McPike - Stallion Manager
Jesse is a Bedford, IN native. Jesse graduated from McNeese State University with a degree in Animal Science and has worked for 12 years as a Union Iron Worker. Jesse enjoys team roping with Amy, but his true passion with horses lies in Steer Wrestling. Jesse has 3 sons, Elijah 9 yrs, Dane 17yrs, and Kerr 17yrs.

Kara Hoevener - Part Time Office Staff
Kara is from Crothersville, Indiana. She is attending IU Southeast where she is majoring in Biology, and minoring in Chemistry. "In my spare time I enjoy photography, barrel racing, and trail riding with my two geldings Norman and Yellow."
Erica Heideman
A Junior at Purdue University, Erica is applying to the school of Veterinary Medicine this year. Erica works at SIE during the Summer months, and during breaks from school.
Katie Scott
Kati works part-time in our front office. She is the oldest Daughter of Lisa Edwards.
