Southern Indiana Equine is owned and operated by Dr. Amy Youngblood, D.V.M.  Dr. Youngblood is graduate of Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. She also attended the Colorado State University reproductive school.  Along with her general veterinary practice, Dr. Youngblood  specializes in equine reproduction, dentistry and performance horse maintenance. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Indiana Veterinary Medical Association, American Association of Equine Practitioners and the Indiana Association of Equine Practitioners.

Located in Austin, IN (30 miles north of Louisville, KY)  just a few miles off of Interstate 65, Southern Indiana Equine offers the uppermost in equine care. Dr. Youngblood is completing the renovation of a former dairy farm
and milking parlor into one of the best veterinary clinic and equine facilities in Southern Indiana. In addition to the veterinary clinic, the complex now houses stallion stalls, mare barn, individual exercise paddocks and 24 hour on site care.  A modern AI lab is the hub of activity during the breeding season.
